Accessing Library Materials Remotely
The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library has a wide range of services you can use while at home.
If you need a library card to log in to Libby:
Download the Libby app to your device.
When you first open the app, you’ll see a welcome page asking if you have a card or not. Click “Not Yet”.
A new page will appear giving you the option to “Find Libraries Nearby”. Click that link.
On the next page you can click to use your location or search for a library. If you choose to search, type “Ramapo Catskill Library System” and select the matching library.
You will then be given the option to “Sign in with my card” or sign up for a digital card. Select “I would like a card”.
Click “Use my phone number”.
Type in your phone number. You will be sent an SMS message with a security code. Type in that code and click “Sign In”.
The next page asks for your first and last name.
Enter this information and click continue (This will confirm that you are over 13 years old).
A pop-up will appear explaining that you are now signed up with your mobile phone number.
