Starting in May, we will be hosting a monthly art exhibit in our
RDN Community Room, featuring a rotation of local New York Artists.
This month’s exhibit...
"The Re-Creation of Hassina Brodie"
Hassina Brodie is a local artist who grew up in Monticello, New York. She became interested in art when her father taught her to draw. Her mother took her to Les Kristt art shop for lessons, and she studied at the Art Students League in Manhattan for three years. Her work has been shown in the BCA Gallery, and more recently in the Catskill Arts Society virtual show. She paints with acrylics, oils, and watercolor. Her style is varied and depicts everything from racial oppression to animals and beautiful landscapes.
