Sergio Velasquez is an independent songwriter from Monticello. A lifelong Catskills native, Sergio writes original, acoustic-based songs that blend the mellow chords and melodies of indie folk with personal, honest lyricism and a quiet-loud song dynamic inspired by his love of 90s alternative rock. Sergio has been performing at open mics around Sullivan County since April of 2022, and has plans to record and release his debut album later this year.
