Carol Smith, Executive Director of the Frederick Cook Society, will present a talk on Sullivan County native explorer, Dr. Frederick Cook. The talk will include a slide presentation and an exhibition of Dr. Cook's photographs.

The Frederick A. Cook Society is a nonprofit, educational organization that assists writers, scholars, and individuals seeking information on the life and work of Frederick Albert Cook (1856-1940).

The Cook Society maintains an exhibition gallery of Dr. Cook’s photography and expedition artifacts, as well as a research library, at the Sullivan County Museum, 265 Main Street, Hurleyville, New York.
