Creating A Butterfly Habitat

  • Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library 479 Broadway Monticello, NY, 12701 United States (map)

Learn how simple it is to create a space that will support all stages of the butterfly life cycle. By creating habitat, you will help support declining butterfly populations! We will focus on 10 common butterfly species, their larvae, and essential host plants. Each participant will take home a free native plant seedling!

Personal Bio: Pam is a local naturalist, environmental educator and owner of Golben Farms, a small nursery specializing in native plants. She also is the Senior Educator at the Mamakating Environmental Education Center, and lectures at local libraries and other venues.

This program will be held in our Robert D. Norris Community Room.
