Have you heard of ‘Afro-Futurism?  Find out more about it from   Dr. Eve Dunbar of Vassar College as she provides a historical introduction to Afrofuturism and its role in the African-American literary and cultural imagination. Discussion to follow.

Dr. Dunbar is an author and an Associate Professor of English at Vassar College. Her book, ‘Black Regions of the Imagination: African American Writers Between the Nation and the World’ is an ‘American literatures’ selection.

 

This program, offered by the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in conjunction with the Nyack library , will be presented on ZOOM. Registration is required, and will close 30 mins before program begins.
