Native Wildflower Workshop with Pamela Golben--In-Person

Learn the basics for collecting, storing, and planting seeds from our native wildflowers. We will identify 6 different native plants and the benefits they provide to the local ecosystem. Learn how to remove seeds from dry seed heads and how to properly store them. We will also demonstrate seed sowing techniques for native seeds. Take home some seeds for your own garden!

Pam is a local naturalist, environmental educator, and owner of Golben Farms, a small nursery specializing in native plants. She also is the Senior Educator at the Mamakating Environmental Education Center, and lectures at local libraries

 and other venues.

Masking and social distancing are strongly recommended.
