‘Pure Local Honey’, a musical program presented virtually by Deborah Fisher and Paul Kean and provided by the E.B. Crawford Library in Monticello.
Debbie Fisher and Paul Kean will share their original songs from their new release “Pure Local Honey”. The songs are about, love, humanity, culture and the demise of the family farm, for example. They will take turns performing each other songs and backing each other on them. Fisher & Kean began playing together in 2017 and became the Songwriters Deborah Anne Fisher & Paul Kean. They accompany each other in harmony & varied instruments, switching off on guitar, ukulele, bass & washboard percussion. There is a tenderness in their music and also a romantic style. Dynamic duo “Fisher & Kean” will feature tracks from their new double CD release “Pure Local Honey”, choosing from 28 original songs. Performances may be intermingled with selections from their comprehensive repertoire of traditional to contemporary popular music. Additionally, “Fisher & Kean“ also perform from the rear cab area, of “The Sunshine Bus” via solar power and have taken bus around and about the community that shows their community-minded spirit. “The Sunshine Bus” is a tribute art piece to Sullivan County’s Woodstock Festival.
