‘A Gem in the Catskills-The Fly Fishing Museum’, a presentation by Anthony J. Magardino, Collection and Archives’ Chair of the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum. This presentation makes many of Sullivan County’s residents aware of yet another gem in the county's crown. There are many residents who have no idea that the museum exists. This region of the county is considered the birthplace of fly fishing in all of America. Many anglers, worldwide, make the trek to the Museum to learn and fish the world renowned waters. The Catskills are considered Mecca among the angling community. You will be surprised how interesting the exhibits, the history and mission of the Museum are!
