An award-winning and inspirational biographical film about the life of slave turned abolitionist Harriet Tubman. Maryland-born Tubman, escaped to Philadelphia only to return South to free her family and others through a network of abolitionist sympathizers known as the Underground Railroad. This movie recounts the life of this courageous, ingenious, and tenacious woman who refused to lose one person as a "conductor" on the Railroad.
