Can you imagine attending a one-room school house way back when? There are those who still remember. Gordon MacAdam, Co-Chair and Paul Lounsbury, Committee Member, will explain how this project began, how research was conducted, and how it is reaching its conclusion.  All 21 schools that once existed in the Town of Thompson will have a historic plaque placed at their locations. It is believed to be the largest historic plaque project ever done in the town and perhaps even in the county.  Historically interesting and a remembrance of such a different time, this presentation will enlighten!
