Israel: Travels in the Holy Land

Israel.png

Barry Kass, Professor emeritus of Anthropology, is an explorer and photographer who travels the world studying cultures and communities. He takes the audience on a journey across Israel, birthplace of three of the world’s great religions. Kass’ amazing photographs illustrate sacred religious shrines such as the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. Visit ancient Jericho, the site of the Masada, ancient Christian churches and Jewish synagogues. Enjoy scenes from the ancient Roman cities of Caesarea, Bet She’an and the ancient city of Petra (of Indiana Jones movies fame) in Jordan.
