This program highlight's retired Monticello H.S. teacher, Gene Weinstein's experiences as a crewmate on the U.S.S. Mt. McKinley, one of Admiral William H.P. Blandy’s fleet of 150 support ships (including foreign dignitaries, scientists and politicians).

Weinstein will present information about the widespread exposure of nuclear contamination, the decontamination efforts and the subsequent response to claims by the U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs. Light refreshments will be provided
